Rhenium

Rhenium is grey to black in powder form, silvery-white, and lustrous as a solid. Rhenium Powder has a crystalline structure at temperatures up to its melting point, and it does not exist naturally. Rhenium has one of the highest densities, just less than platinum, iridium, and osmium. Only tungsten and carbon have higher melting points than it. Rhenium has good wear resistance, and it can withstand arc corrosion. Rhenium’s range of valences is higher than other elements.
