Molybdenum Physical Performance :
The high melting point of 2620 °C as well as its high-temperature strength allow the application of Mo at temperatures up to 1900 °C. Depending on its level of deformation, the recrystallization of molybdenum starts between 800 and 1200 °C. Between 1600 and 1800 °C a spontaneous grain growth takes place with a significant decrease in strength and hardness. Molybdenum and its alloys are mainly used because of their outstanding properties at high temperatures.
Applications:
- Vacuum furnace shieldings
- Furnace heating elements
- Thin Film Deposition
- Furnace support frames
- Boats for sapphire crystal furnaces and vacuum furnaces
- Molybdenum sputtering targets for the vacuum coating and evaporation coating
- Molybdenum Ion sources for ion implantation equipment
- Heat Sinks
